Enigma, the much talked about restaurant at Palazzo Versace Dubai launches a new chapter – Taste of Persia – curated by the hotel’s Executive Chef Mansour Memarian.
Michelin-starred Memarian draws on his Iranian roots in this creative gastronomic experience of truly authentic Persian cuisine, but with his own inimitable twist.
A marriage of culinary arts and innovation, the Taste of Persia showcases Palazzo Versace Dubai’s exceptional attention to detail, bringing Persian style to Dubai – complete with beautiful views over the pool and historic Dubai Creek beyond.
Offering a sharing menu, this remarkable dining experience allows guests to interact with Chef Mansour and his team while dishes are being prepared live. Taste of Persia presents homemade recipes cooked over generations. The menu features light, simple and well known classic dishes such as Kotlette Tehrani, a traditional Persian dish made up of crispy potatoes with minced beef, onion juice and saffron; a signature Kabab Versace; a mouthwatering traditional Tehran Dizi served with home-made condiments and fresh bread and a delicious Falude, for those with a sweet tooth.
Chef Mansour comments: “Cooking is storytelling, and through my cuisine I invite guests on a journey, which also takes me back to the rich flavors of Persia and my childhood memories”.
Memarian has 21 years’ industry experience in some of the world’s best restaurants and has held executive positions at several luxury brands. He earned his first Michelin star in 2006, in just eight months as Head Chef at Germany’s Jagdhof Glashütte. Following this, Memarian moved to Innsbruck, Austria to open Pavillon restaurant and claim is second Michelin star.
