Camp Bestival

Designed by families especially for families, Camp Bestival combines all the fun of a fantastic family camping holiday with everything you’d expect from an idyllic and action-packed festival adventure.

Camp Bestival is the UK's quintessential family festival, where guests gather each summer for a weekend of music, fun, and games at either Lulworth Castle in Dorset or Weston Park in Shropshire.

Founded in 2008 by BBC Radio 1 DJ Rob da Bank and his wife Josie, Camp Bestival was conceived as a family-friendly counterpart to their original Bestival event. Held annually at Lulworth Castle in Dorset, the festival has become renowned for its eclectic mix of live music, comedy, literature, and children's entertainment. In 2022, a second edition was introduced at Weston Park in Shropshire, expanding the festival's reach while maintaining its core ethos.

Camp Bestival has earned accolades for its family-oriented approach, winning the Best Family Festival award at the UK Festival Awards in 2009, 2010, 2013, and 2014. The festival's programming includes performances from a diverse array of artists, ranging from pop and indie acts to children's entertainers like Mr Tumble and Mister Maker. Beyond music, attendees can enjoy a variety of activities such as workshops, theatre productions, and wellness sessions, ensuring entertainment for all ages.

With its vibrant atmosphere, diverse programming, and commitment to family-friendly fun, Camp Bestival continues to be a highlight of the UK's summer festival calendar.
